Tiguex Productions is proud New Mexico based Film Production Company. As a Chicano Filmmaker from the state of New Mexico, the main objective of Tiguex Productions is to inspire the youth of New Mexico to achieve their life's goals. Due to the declining economy providing employment to our community is also serious focal point. Tiguex Productions consists of New Mexico cast and crew from New Mexico self-sufficient in the film industry. Tiguex is a community collaboration of both filmmaking and small business alike that was formed by the community for the community. We strongly believe in giving back to our community and allowing the youth of New Mexico to speak with filmmakers and other professionals such as educators, entertainers, athletes, and political figures that will motivate the youth of this state to stay positive. By providing the youth with an opportunity to speak with these professionals it broadens the perspective of the youth and gives a chance to discuss the negative effects of some serious issues in the community. Such issues consist of underage drinking, violence, drug abuse, and truency which causes many young men and women to abandon their focus on education. Through the Tiguex Community Outreach Program we would also like to educate and enlighten the youth on how our New Mexico film professionals succeeded in their fields. By sharing some experiences with the youth of New Mexico these speakers can give hope to the young men and women of this state and quite possibly motivate them to succeed. God Bless You.
